Electric air heater TKL-E

TKL-E heaters are designed for heating air and other non-explosive gas mixtures in ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Design and materials.
The heaters are available in six sizes.
The casing and junction box are made of galvanised steel.
Heating rods of tubular type are made of stainless steel and have a spiral shape. Heaters with a capacity of 12 kW and more are structurally designed with two equal power stages for more precise maintenance of the supply air temperature and to reduce the load on the electrical network. Housing insulation class IP 40. Operating temperature range of the supply air from -40°C to +40°C.
Overheating protection.
The heaters are equipped as standard with two overheating protection thermostats for the casing and air, which are activated at a temperature of 80°C, as well as a thermal contact circuit which opens in the event of overheating.
The air flow velocity through the heater must be at least 1 m/s.
Heat output control. The heat output of the heaters is automatically regulated by means of control units.
Smooth capacity regulation is achieved by sequential switching on of the heating stages, which allows precise monitoring of the supply air temperature.
Installation.
The electric heaters can be installed in any position except with the junction box facing downwards. To prevent contamination of the heater, an air filter must be installed at least 1 metre in front of the heater. When installing the heater in front of a fan, its output must be adjusted so that the maximum permissible temperature of the air transported by the fan is not exceeded.
