Duct plate silencers are used in ventilation and air conditioning systems and are designed to reduce aerodynamic noise and vibration generated by fans, air conditioners, heating units, air distribution devices, as well as noise generated in the elements of the ventilation network, such as ducts and spreading through the ducts. In addition, the Silencer reduces vibration, which increases the service life of the ventilation system. They are installed directly into the rectangular duct of ventilation systems in industrial and public buildings. In the standard version, the Silencer housing is made of galvanised steel sheet. As noise-absorbing material in the Silencer plates is used basalt-fibre mineral wool plate covered with glass fibre felt to prevent blowing of mineral wool dust into the air passing through the Silencer. The covering is fixed to the board with polythene. Best performance is achieved at low air velocities. Mounting in any position. Operating temperature range is from -40°C to +70°C.
