Reinforced damper KVO-P is designed to control air flow or to close a ventilation duct.
The damper can be operated at low temperatures (down to -40 °C) and is characterised by design features preventing heat loss through the flaps.
Operating principle and design.
The reinforced damper KVO-P consists of a four-wall body made of galvanised steel, the damper leaf is made of a reinforced aluminium profile, the flaps are joined in the form of a lock seal. The reinforced damper KVO-P does not contain any heating elements. The damper blades open parallel and are driven by levers and rods. The axis of the control mechanism can be located on any of the blades on either side of the unit. A manual or electromechanical actuator is used to operate the flaps. The power of the actuator is also selected depending on the area of the damper.
Installation.
Mounting of dampers in the ventilation system is carried out by fastening the flanges of dampers to the mating flanges of ducts or other units of ventilation systems using bolts and brackets.
