Purpose In standard version AirK-E unit is manufactured with galvanised steel casing. The compact heat-insulated casing (insulation thickness 30 mm) contains: filter (flat filter of G3 cleaning class is used as a filter element), fan (fan casing is plastic, steel impeller), water or electric air heater. Capacity is up to 1000 m³/hour. Installation design The unit is operable in any spatial orientation. To change the filter, the service panel is removed. As a rule, the service panel should be located at the bottom. The unit is easy to install: brackets are provided in the unit body for mounting to building structures. There is one inlet and one outlet Ø200 for connection to the duct system. It is recommended to connect the unit with flexible noise-insulated ducts. In order to achieve optimal acoustic and aerodynamic characteristics, a straight duct section of about 1m should be provided after the unit exhaust. Standard features Control by remote control with LCD display, non-volatile real-time clock and multifunctional timer, heater control by PI controller with dynamic mode selection system to ensure the highest accuracy of air temperature maintenance, monitoring of the main process parameters and detection of emergency situations. The air handling unit is controlled according to the preset programme including: automatic regulation of supply air temperature in accordance with the preset set point; smooth control (PLM) of electric heater with maximum power limitation; temperature sensor status control; fan motor control; filter contamination control; timer operation. There is no automatic transition between summer and winter time. The control unit is made on the basis of requirements of TU 4862-002-45687431-2013. Important! The heater is manufactured in variants: 2, 4, 6 or 12 kW. W-shaped heating elements are used, nominal power of one of them is 2 kW. When connecting to single-phase network ("phase" and "zero") more than one heating element, parallel connection scheme is used, in case of three-phase connection the scheme is "star". The rated power of the heater is selected when ordering, during operation the power is regulated by means of a solid-state relay.
