Inertia grating SGI
SGI inertia grille is an external grille and additionally fulfils the function of a non-return valve. It protects the ventilation system from precipitation and foreign objects; it prevents air movement in the system when the fan is switched off. The SGI grille consists of a frame with lightweight louvres installed in it, which open under air pressure. The SGI grille is made of aluminium profile.
SGI grilles are mounted exclusively using screw connections (mounting holes) to ensure that the grille is securely fastened to the duct or building structure.
The grilles can be equipped with an air flow damper and an adapter for connection to the duct. Adapters are available with both lateral and axial connection to circular and rectangular ducts.
