Slotted grille SLG with static pressure chambers
To regulate the air flow rate 2KSR M static pressure chambers are equipped with a regulating device, which is installed in the inlet pipe.
For grids ARS, ALS the use of 2KSR M is not reasonable, as the flow rate is changed directly in the distributor.
The static pressure chamber acts as a simple chamber silencer, reducing the noise spreading through the ventilation network by 4-6 dB. Static pressure chambers can be covered from inside with a layer of heat-insulating and sound-absorbing material. In this case, the overall dimensions of the static pressure chamber do not change. Such cladding enhances the effect of reduction of noise coming through the network to the air distributor by additional 6-8 dB (mainly at high frequencies), as well as reduces cold (heat) losses of supply air and prevents condensate formation on the surface of static pressure chambers at air temperature below the dew point.
The static pressure chambers are made of galvanised steel, with a side air inlet on the A side of the grille. Depending on the length of the air diffuser, one or two inlets are installed in the chamber. The static pressure chamber is mounted to building structures using metal cables or threaded rods through the mounting holes in the chamber. Fixing elements are not included in the delivery set. The false ceiling is installed after the installation of the chambers. Slotted grilles with static pressure chambers are a collapsible construction, in which the grilles are fixed to the chambers using screws through metal corners installed in the grilles, the screws are screwed into threaded bushings installed on the chamber bracket.
Slotted grilles with static pressure chambers are manufactured in sizes from 500 mm to 2000 mm in 50 mm increments. All slotted grilles with static pressure chambers can be mounted in a single line, the connection is made through holes in the brackets for bolted connection on the chambers (fasteners are not included in the delivery set).
In case there are special requirements to the selection of grilles with chambers for mounting in one line, it is necessary to coordinate the sketch. When ordering slotted grilles with static pressure chambers with non-standard height "C" and (or) non-standard diameter "D" of the connection spigot, it is also necessary to coordinate the sketch.
Example of designation when ordering a 9 m long 2-slot SLG grille with two sides, white colour RAL9016 with static pressure chamber without regulator, without thermal and acoustic insulation: SLG 9000/2 + B + 2 static pressure chambers M
Grilles with 2 static pressure chambers M with a length of more than 2 m are made from a set of grilles with 2 static pressure chambers M from 0.5 to 1 m with a spacing of 50 mm. The selection of chambers is carried out as follows:
- if the length is a multiple of 1 m, the number of chambers N =A/1000.
- If the length is not a multiple of 1 mm, the number of chambers N = A/1000+1.
If the total length is not a multiple of 1 m, the division is carried out into N grids with A - the total length, where N-1 identical grids from 0.5 to 1 m and one grid with a camera differs in a greater or lesser side from the rest within the limits from 0.5 to 1 m.
Example. When ordering SLG 9050/5 + 2 static pressure chambers N = 9050/1000 = 9+1=10 chambers: SLG 900/5 + 2 static pressure chambers - 9 pcs; SLG 950/5 + 2 static pressure chambers - 1 pc;
Example. When ordering SLG 12550/2
