Fire protection valve OZK-1m(60)/1m(90)
Application.
Fire damper OZK-1m(60)/1m(90) (hereinafter referred to as the damper) can be used both as a fire retardant damper with normally open (NO) damper and smoke damper with normally closed (NC) damper. Normally open (NO) (fire retardant) damper is designed to block the spread of fire and combustion products in ducts, shafts and ducts of ventilation and air conditioning systems in case of fire in buildings and structures for various purposes. Normally closed (NC) dampers (including smoke dampers) are used in smoke ventilation systems. The damper can be installed in openings of walls, floors, suspended ceilings, as well as in the ends and on the ducts' outlets. Application of the damper is carried out in accordance with the requirements of SNiP 41-01-2003 and special technical specifications. The OZK valve should not be installed in rooms of categories A and B of explosion and fire hazard, in ventilation systems and places of suction of explosion and fire hazardous and aggressive media, as well as in systems that are not subjected to cleaning from combustible deposits. Type of climatic execution and category of placement - UZ according to GOST 15150-69. Characteristics of external environment during operation and storage of the valve:
- Limit values of operating temperature of ambient air from -30C to +40C in the absence of direct impact of atmospheric precipitations;
-environment must not contain aggressive vapours and gases in concentrations destroying metals, paint coatings and electrical insulation.
Design and materials.
The OZK valve is available in rectangular cross-section with flange connection and round cross-section with flange or nipple connection. The valve body is made of galvanised steel. The valve consists of: body, damper, actuator. The body is the supporting structure of the damper, made of galvanised steel and is a part of the duct. The damper is made of 20 mm thick sheets of refractory material. Thermal sealing tape is installed around the damper perimeter to seal the gaps between the body and the damper in case of fire. The angle of rotation of the damper is 90 degrees. OZK valves are manufactured in different modifications depending on the type of actuator: with electromagnetic actuator; with electromechanical actuators SPUTNIK FS, as well as with similar actuators of other manufacturers.
