When installing an electromechanical actuator (FS/BLF/BFL) on fire dampers, it is possible to equip it with a thermal disconnecting device. The thermal release device is a temperature sensor installed in a junction box mounted on the valve hatch cover. In case of heating up to 72°C or higher, the sensor breaks the supply circuit of the electromechanical actuator, thus triggering its operation. The box is also fitted with a lockable control button which, when pressed, triggers the actuator.
