Installation In order to avoid contamination of the heat exchange surface and, as a consequence, reduction of efficiency, it is necessary to install filter elements before the inlet to the recuperator of the supply and exhaust air. AirM RT rotary regenerators are available in eight sizes. The heat exchange surface is a rotating drum of wave-shaped aluminium belts providing highly efficient heat transfer. The regenerators are fitted with brush seals to minimise crossflow between supply and extract air and a condensate collection tray. Rotor rotation by three-phase induction motor and belt drive. The heat transfer surface is a package of specially profiled 0.2 mm thick aluminium plates with a spacing of 5 to 9 mm between them, ensuring highly efficient heat transfer. All recuperators are equipped with both a bypass for frost protection and a profiled plastic drift eliminator and drip tray with a condensate drain with G 1/2" female thread.
