Water heaters AirM HW

Installation.
The water heaters can be installed both in floor standing and suspended versions by transforming the feet into suspension brackets without the use of additional parts. An air filter must be installed in front of the heater to prevent contamination. Heaters should be connected according to the counter-flow principle, as the heater capacity is reduced when using the direct flow circuit. When installing the heater in front of the fan, it is necessary to regulate its output in such a way that the maximum permissible temperature of the air transported by the fan is not exceeded.
Application.
AirM HW water heaters are designed for heating air and other non-explosive gas mixtures in ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Design and materials.
Designed for operation at maximum working pressure of 1.5 MPa and maximum working temperature of the heat carrier 170°C. It is recommended to use water and non-freezing mixtures as a heat carrier. The heat exchange surface is made of 0.2 mm thick aluminium plates and 9.52 mm diameter copper tubes passing through them in staggered order. The steel tube manifolds have threaded connections outside the side panel for de-airing the heat exchanger and draining the water. All heat exchangers are tested for tightness with water at 20 atm pressure for 10 minutes. Frost protection.
Frost protection is a set of interrelated measures that prevent the heat exchanger from freezing under normal operating conditions. This complex includes the following components: AZT06 capillary thermostat for air frost protection; VSN clamp-on return temperature sensors for frost protection; BKUP control unit.
Heat output control.
The heat output of AirM HW heaters is automatically regulated by the control unit and mixing unit. Smooth regulation of the output is achieved by using a mixing unit as a pipework for the heater, which allows the supply air temperature to be precisely maintained.
