Air dampers for round ducts are used in ventilation and air conditioning systems and are designed to close the ventilation duct and regulate the air flow.
Design and materials.
DKK valves are available in six sizes. The valve body and swivel plate are made of galvanised steel sheet. The rubber seal on the edge of the swivel plate prevents its freezing to the body in winter and also provides hermetic closing of the channel. As standard, the DKK air valve is equipped with a platform for electric actuator or a handle. The rotary stem of square cross-section with side 12 mm provides reliable fixation of the valve actuator. Operating ambient temperature range -40°C to +70°C.
Installation.
The air valves can be mounted in any position. When mounting, it is necessary to leave a service space for access to the valve actuator
